...Or walk on water

"We didn't start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world's been turning
We didn't start the fire
No we didn't light it
But we tried to fight it
" - Billy Joel

Imagine a clear and still lake.

A child touches the surface of it - a small but a definite ripple is created. Though weaker by the minute, it will nevertheless traverse the whole of the lake.

Now imagine a million such touches at many parts of the lake - now no point on the lake's surface is immune to some ripple confluence. In such a situation of continuous ripple creations: at any given point on the surface of lake, every second, a floating but environmentally-sensitive being would experience seemingly random ups and downs. It could complain as much as it wants but its futile.

The way out is to accept that those so 'random' movements are naturnal or eternal: so learn to enjoy floating (like a duck) or enjoy surfing/sailing (like humans do) :)

Its futile and unproductive to think: "why do I have to go through all this pain & trouble?" or "why do I be the carrier of that burden of the cross on me?" Every second then becomes excruitiating.
Instead accept the situation and think "How do I pass over this?" or "What is it that I have to learn from this?"  OR even better: focus on a bigger goal... like getting onto the lakeshore.

Our 'collective karmic veil' is dynamic and confluent of the multiple energy expression its exposed to since even the big bang . What one does or 'causes' is not even of one's own volition. Its like a dynamic script that changes with more conscious beings' participation.

All's well and right as the scheme of things should be. So float or surf!
